  1. What exactly is the purpose of this piece? Are you planning to incorporate such light projection into your illustrations?

    • Hey! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, yes, the piece I am working on right now involves some architecture and big differences in light+shadow. I tried to implement it somewhat freehandedly, but failed with the perspective there, so I made these studies to gain more insight into how light (parallel as well as stationary lightsources) behaves in perspective. I may have overdone it a bit, though 😀

      On the other hand, these have given me some ideas for projects as well as practice im perspective construction.

  2. Well. If you’re doing some perspective heavy image then I would recommend 3d software. Up to certain level of complexity it’s faster with freehand drawing but if you’re designing piece with things like stairs and lots of other repetitive elements then you don’t have to be masochist.
